This year’s challenge project will be displayed at the Arts Council during the month of July 2026, America’s semi-quincentennial celebration. There will be a name tag posted next to your wall hanging.

2014 Challenge Quilts

During our July 2013 meeting,  envelopes with numbers on them were distributed. Each person wanting to participate took an envelope and wrote their number on a sheet of paper that was also passed around. Inside the envelope was the name of a quilt block. The challenge was to make a quilt with the sides no smaller than 20 inches and no larger than 30 inches. Participants were not to piece the named block, but to make a quilt using a play on the quilt block name.
